Release is part of the design

Peer review, rollback and operational handover are design decisions. Plan for the people who will release and maintain the capability.

Alongside Web 2 delivery, I established release governance covering peer review, testing, approval, rollback, production validation and operational handover. I also wrote Playwright and Selenium proof implementations and secured approval for an automation-testing pilot.

I bring those questions into the work early: how will we review the change, verify it in production, recover if necessary and hand it over? Clear ownership and an achievable release process are part of delivering a maintainable system.
